Spring Session 2007


Our Spring Session is filled with exciting activities, which include our Annual Recreational Cancer Fundraiser Meet June 17th This year's theme is "Flipfest 2007" This is a great opportunity for recreational athletes to show off their skills they have been working on all year.

Got kids bouncing around The house? Why not bring Them to the gym? Our Spring Session starts March 31st - June 24th. Registration is now On! You may register by dropping by the office Mon - Thurs 6 - 8pm

Success at Women's 2nd Provincial Qualifier

Clarington Gymnast's Hurdle to the Podium Clarington's Women's Provincial Team attended their 3rd Qualifier Feb 23rd - 25th. at the Bramalea Gymnastics Club in Brampton Ontario.

15 members of Clarington Gymnastics from Oshawa, Courtice , Port Hope and Bowmanville showed off their ability to earn a qualifying score to attend Provincial Championships and Elite Ontario to be held in April. The following are the results including Special Awards such as Best Choreographing on Floor.

COSSA Championships!

Central Ontario Secondary School Qualifier. For OFSAA. April 17th Clarington Gymnastics will host the COSSA Championships. With over 60 athletes ranging in ages 14 - 17yrs these girls are working hard and having fun while keep in shape. We are proud to support older athletes staying in the sport of gymnastics! Come out and cheer them on.

Volunteers Needed

Donations and volunteers will be needed to help make these events possible, if you or your company would like to make a donation please speak with Linda or Christine.

Competitive Testing

Testing for our competitive programs is by invitation only. It will be taking place during April/May. All testing is done by the head coach.

Class's will still run Saturday April 7th, But there will be no Class's April19th for The Victoria Day long Weekend. March 17th Happy St.Patricks Day.

Clarington Gymnastics will be running a 6-week summer program from July 17th - Aug 24th/06. Don't miss out on our Theme weeks such as Beach Party Week & Circus Week. Registration for summer will begin in June.

Courtney

Courtney Courtney is a Provincial Level Six Team Member here at Clarington. She recently placed 2nd AA At the 3rd Ontario Provincial Qualifier in Brampton. Some of her new skills are layout full On floor, backhandspring, backhandspring on beam and cast to handstand layout flyaway ob bars. Great Job Courtney!!!

Please arrive on time. Warm up is an essential part of gymnastics to prevent injury.

Only water bottles with your child's name on it are allowed in the change rooms.(rec only)

Please don't bring any valuables such as expensive rings watch's etc. Please remove shoes at the door. We want to keep our gym clean! No parents are permitted beyond the double wood doors. All parents may watch their children from the viewing area provided.

No communication between parents and children are allowed. Please let the coach's do their job.
